We use these on the Long Travel Suspension kits with 2.5" & 4" Jeep springs.
Connect them for the road and quick disconnect for the trails and obstacles. Realistically, only one side needs disconnected to free the front from the sway bar holding back the flex or you can disconnect both sides and tie the bar up out of the way
